Sweet buns

Watching the teaser at the end of last week’s GBBO it looks like we’ll be seeing lots of lovely sweet buns this week as well as some tea loaves. 4 weeks ago when the show started I made the iced buns that Paul Hollywood made in the masterclass last year. I’ve been looking for inspiration as I fancy trying something new for this week’s Great Blogger’s Bake Off but seeing the gorgeous nutella buns being made in The Crazy Kitchen this weekend made me want Iced buns all over again. So here they are:

The recipe is in my original post, I never seem to get beautifully even sized buns but even if I say so myself, when they come out of the oven they taste AMAZING. After having a think what else I could make I think I will try something along the lines of a chelsea bun with blueberries and a yoghurt topping. Pop back later in the week to see how I get on.

ooo I’m trying to join in this week for the first time – I see such yumminess every where I go, and watching Bake Off for the first time last night on TV I am pretty enthusiastic.
Love iced buns, they remind me of school days – and happiness!
